Allied Universal is seeking an unarmed Security Officer - Campus Rover in Tempe, AZ. This full-time role involves patrolling a financial institution, delivering customer service, and maintaining a visible security presence to deter incidents.

You will respond to alarms, monitor access points, and prepare incident reports while upholding Allied Universal’s values and required safety procedures.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background screening and drug test may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a financial institution by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and maintain orderly entry and exit procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol findings, and unusual activity with professionalism and confidentiality.

This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

• Wed: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site policies, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol findings, and unusual activity while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
