Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of banking offices, access points, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access, verify visitor credentials, and maintain logs of visitors, incidents, and activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and coordinate with contacts and responders.
• Report facility concerns and policy violations to appropriate personnel.

As a Security Officer - Patrol in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking offices, access points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify visitor credentials as required, and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and activity logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Help support a professional environment by reporting facility concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate personnel and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
