As a Armed Security Officer - Campus Patrol in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, and the business perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports related to incidents, patrol activities, and other security-related observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
