Allied Universal, a leading security company, is hiring a Security Officer - Unarmed Observation in Tempe, AZ. You will monitor and safeguard a financial institution, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents.

The role requires patrolling, logging activities, and coordinating with responders to ensure safety. Minimum requirements include 1 year of security experience, high school diploma, and background checks.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and reports.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly professional environment by communicating clearly with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
