Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Site Patrol Driver in Tempe, AZ. You will guard a financial institution, patrol the premises, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, 1 year of security experience, and a high school diploma. CPR is preferred. Expect a full-time schedule with early morning shifts and a focus on safety and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random patrols of banking areas, offices, entrances, and parking facilities.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs and incident reports for Allied Universal and clients.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of banking areas, offices, entrances, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and maintain awareness of visitor and contractor activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and required documentation while communicating relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
