Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer - Operations Center Rover in Tempe, AZ. This full-time role involves patrolling, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and reporting activities to leadership.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted per applicable laws.
• Criminal history considered in line with laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the location including interior, entry points, and parking areas.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry per site procedures; report unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, following escalation and reporting protocols.
• Prepare clear activity reports and shift handoff information for leadership.

Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the financial institution location, including interior areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter grounds.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff information for Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
