Allied Universal in Reno, NV is seeking a part-time Unarmed Security Officer to perform patrols, monitor access, assist guests, and uphold safety at a retail/entertainment location. You will deliver professional customer service and respond to security concerns while following site policies.

Shifts include Friday and Saturday evenings. A guard card/license and a high school diploma are preferred, along with background checks and a drug screen where allowed by law.

Qualificações

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic retail and entertainment location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with guests and team members while responding to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $22.15 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 06:15 PM - 02:15 AM
• Sat 06:15 PM - 02:15 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, employees, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a retail entertainment location.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior activity areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and observe guest activity, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required reports and maintain clear communication with site management, Allied Universal leadership, and local emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
