Allied Universal in Reno, NV is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for Access Patrol. You will monitor entrances, deter incidents, and provide friendly customer service at a busy entertainment location.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a lively retail and entertainment location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will work collaboratively with site teams and visitors while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.15 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 07:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thur 07:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, tenants, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the entertainment venue, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity within public areas, and report suspicious conditions, hazards, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately while maintaining a professional presence in a busy retail and entertainment location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
