Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the entertainment venue, including entrances, gaming areas, bowling lanes, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor activity within the location and report unusual conditions, hazards, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, guest disputes, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, theft, disorderly conduct, and other prohibited activity while maintaining a welcoming environment for guests.

As a Security Officer - Full Time - Recreation Venue in Reno, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail and entertainment location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with guests and team members while responding to routine concerns with integrity. What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
