Allied Universal in Reno, NV is hiring a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol for a full-time position. You will protect clients across tech/media/telecom environments, patrol interior/exterior spaces, monitor access points, and maintain a professional, customer-focused presence.

The role requires minimum age 18, a high school diploma or equivalent, and completion of background checks and drug screening. A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions where applicable.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with badge verification, visitor sign-in, and direction to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and promptly communicate concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while supporting a professional, customer-focused environment.
