Allied Universal in Sparks, NV seeks a Part-Time Security Officer – Alarm Dispatch Driver to support utilities locations. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $29.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to utility location personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor dispatch communications, alarms, cameras, and access-related systems; receive and document calls for service; and coordinate responses with site personnel and emergency services as directed.
• Dispatch security-related personnel to incidents, service requests, and critical situations, maintaining clear radio and telephone communications in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Prepare and maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, dispatch records, and shift handoff information in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the utility location and perimeter as assigned, reporting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Supervisory experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
