Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Dispatch Center Driver in Sparks, NV to serve and safeguard clients across utilities and other industries. You will coordinate communications, monitor alarms, and dispatch security personnel, providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, background check, and drug screen, with a consistent evening schedule.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor communications, alarms, and site systems; document activity and relay relevant information to appropriate personnel.
• Dispatch security-related personnel and coordinate responses to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, visitor or contractor information, and other dispatch records in accordance with site procedures.
• Support regular and random patrol activity around utility operations and perimeter areas by tracking check-ins and reporting unusual conditions.

• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:
