Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer for an Access Reception role in Sparks, NV. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, and provide professional customer service to drivers and visitors while maintaining security.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to employees, visitors, and drivers. Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or delivery documentation, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, and control access to designated areas in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns.
• Support the orderly movement of commercial vehicles and visitors by providing clear directions and maintaining professional, courteous interactions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
