Allied Universal in Concord, MA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer to guard government facilities and other sites. You will provide professional customer service, monitor access points, perform patrols, and respond to incidents.

This role offers weekend evening shifts, a flexible schedule, and opportunities for training and advancement. You must meet the minimum requirements, including a high school diploma and background screening.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, documenting incidents and communicating relevant information to supervisors and/or appropriate personnel.
• Complete required reports, patrol logs, and other documentation accurately and in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
