As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations with professionalism, and provide outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $25.88 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Fri: 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government transportation locations.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, parking areas, access points, roadways, and surrounding perimeters to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, traffic-related disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.
• Operate and maintain assigned equipment, including authorized firearms and communications devices, in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, training, and Allied Universal policies.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and interactions accurately and promptly; communicate relevant information to supervisors and appropriate public agency personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
