As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide courteous customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Tue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, parking areas, roadways, transit-related infrastructure, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with established site procedures, maintaining awareness of restricted areas and reporting unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, traffic-related disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and public agencies as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of observations, incidents, patrol activities, and policy violations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
