Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Patrol in Tempe, AZ to serve and safeguard clients at a financial institution. You will monitor the premises, perform regular unarmed patrols, verify visitor credentials, and maintain accurate logs while delivering courteous service to employees and visitors.

The full-time position pays $20.00 per hour, with daytime shifts listed, and offers a welcoming, collaborative work environment focused on teamwork and integrity in daily operations.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking offices, access points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify visitor credentials as required, and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and activity logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Help support a professional environment by reporting facility concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate personnel and/or Allied Universal supervision.
