Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed) for a shopping center in Foothill Ranch, CA. You will drive patrols, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to visitors and tenants while maintaining a safe environment.

Responsibilities include routine patrols, monitoring access points, and reporting security concerns. Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license, HS diploma, and ability to lift up to 20 pounds. Training and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, shoppers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, storefronts, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, patrols, and daily activities in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal procedures.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Shopping Center Driving Patrol Inspections in Foothill Ranch, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail location, you will drive throughout assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service, assist visitors and tenants, and communicate clearly with site personnel. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
