You will use a computer or tablet, follow site procedures, complete incident reports, and coordinate with Allied Universal leadership. The role is full-time with a consistent daytime schedule and hourly pay of $21.50.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of security-related experience.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicant will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeters to identify hazards or policy concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas by verifying authorization and reporting unauthorized entry attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document actions.
• Prepare clear incident reports, daily logs, and shift handoff information with professional communication.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees at a technology, media, and telecommunications-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, construction areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas by verifying authorization, observing visitor and contractor activity, and reporting unauthorized entry attempts in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift handoff information while maintaining professional communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
