Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Boise, ID. The role involves patrolling, ensuring safety, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time position with a pay rate of $21.50 per hour. The schedule spans Day Time shifts including weekdays and weekends. Candidates must meet minimum security experience and licensing requirements, pass background checks, and be capable of lifting 20+ pounds.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Prior supervisory experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the location, perimeter, entry points, and parking areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report unusual conditions.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications.

What You'll Do:

• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business location, perimeter, entry points, parking areas, and active project spaces, as assigned.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Complete clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Prior supervisory experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
