Allied Universal in Boise, ID is hiring a part-time Security Officer Patrol Driver Route Coverage. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents while delivering customer service to clients, visitors, and contractors.

This role offers a flexible schedule with day and night shifts. A valid driver’s license, two years security experience, and a high school diploma are required; computer or tablet skills are preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of construction areas, offices, access points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor and contractor authorization and maintaining entry records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document activities.
• Report hazards, damaged barriers, unsecured access points, and other security-related concerns to site management.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of construction areas, offices, access points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor and contractor authorization, maintaining entry records, and communicating site access requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities in accordance with site procedures.
• Report hazards, damaged barriers, unsecured access points, and other security-related concerns to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A security professional license issued by a state, county, or city is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
