Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, contractors, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of construction areas, offices, access points, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor and contractor authorization, maintaining required entry records, and communicating site access requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Have supervisory experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
