Job summary

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and manage entry/exit processes.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify responders.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Incident Reporting in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will collaborate with a reliable, innovative team that puts people first, responds with agility, and acts with integrity while helping create a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and help maintain orderly entry and exit processes.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
