Job Description

Help lead the delivery of top-notch security services at New York-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital. The security department plays a vital role beyond patrolling facilities—they contribute to meaningful stories by maintaining a lawful and safe environment for lifesaving care. As a Security Officer, you will ensure a safe and welcoming environment by protecting patients, staff, volunteers, visitors, and property. Your responsibilities include greeting individuals with a smile, providing directions, monitoring security systems, responding to emergencies, investigating incidents, and participating in security improvements.

Position Details

This is a full-time evening position (3pm - 11pm, including weekends) at 1980 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor, NY. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are days off.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, military experience, or 2 years of college courses in criminal justice or related field
• Police or security background
• BLS certification required

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid New York State Security Guard License or statutory exemption
• Valid driver's license

Compensation

$25.00 per hour, with competitive base pay, recognition for experience, education, and licensure, plus comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.
