Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Cambridge, MA. You will monitor and protect tenants, visitors and staff across a commercial real estate site, perform unarmed patrols, control access, and deliver professional customer service.

Schedule includes Fri-Sun 3:00 PM–11:00 PM with a pay rate of $25.37 per hour. The role requires a HS diploma, background check, and compliance with licensing and drug

• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, tenants, visitors, and contractors at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and provide directions or assistance to authorized individuals.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident reports while maintaining professional communication.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and team members while responding to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $25.37 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, tenants, visitors, and contractors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and provide directions or assistance to authorized individuals.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site requirements.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
