Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following security procedures and responding to concerns.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail areas, stockrooms, and surrounding grounds to deter incidents and maintain a welcoming environment.
• Monitor access points and observe entry/exit activity per site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and escalate issues as appropriate.
• Prepare clear reports and communicate observations and maintenance concerns to leadership and site contacts.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will conduct routine patrols throughout a dynamic retail location, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with associates and visitors, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.30 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 10:00 AM - 09:00 PM
• Sat 10:00 AM - 09:00 PM
• Sun 11:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail sales areas, stockrooms, receiving areas, parking areas, and the building perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support a welcoming environment.
• Monitor access points and observe entry and exit activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters as appropriate.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
