Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part‑time Unarmed Security Officer in Philadelphia, PA. You will patrol the perimeter, monitor access points, and provide a welcoming presence for tenants and visitors, while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will respond to incidents following established procedures, prepare incident reports, and maintain security standards across the property. This role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and integrity on every shift.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations; may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and building common areas in accordance with commercial property requirements; report unusual activity or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the building, parking areas, perimeter, and common spaces to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security‑related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
