As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will maintain a visible presence, respond to alarms and access concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.30 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and facility conditions; report maintenance, suspicious activity, and other security-related issues according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
