Allied Universal in Jeffersonville, IN is seeking a Security Officer for a Full Time Unarmed Patrol Visibility role. You will maintain a visible security presence, assist employees and visitors, and protect the site across evening and night shifts.

Responsibilities include patrolling buildings and perimeter, monitoring access points, responding to incidents, and completing logs and reports while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced technology and telecom location.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations; identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and patrol documentation; communicate with leadership and site contacts.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel as directed.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
