Allied Universal in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Security Officer Credential Screening to protect our clients across logistics and distribution sites. You will screen people, packages, and materials, monitor access points, and report security concerns with professional communication and a visible presence.

The role is full-time with a pay rate of $17.22 per hour. You’ll join a team that values agility, reliability, teamwork, and integrity while complying with all safety and background checks.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

As a Security Officer Credential Screening in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening people, packages, and/or materials, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a visible presence that helps deter incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries entering the logistics and distribution location in accordance with site procedures.
• Operate screening equipment and conduct authorized inspections of persons, packages, and property while maintaining professional communication and access-control protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, access points, loading areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
