Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months security experience.

• Drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local law.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions.

As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by monitoring access, screening individuals and items, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service, use communication skills to assist visitors and team members, and help deter incidents through a visible, reliable presence. Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, vehicles, and/or packages in accordance with site procedures and applicable requirements.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor or delivery activity as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution location, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
