Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring for a Security Officer Full Time Screening in Albuquerque, NM. You will use screening equipment to identify prohibited items and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and shipments.

Responsibilities include providing customer service, verifying identifications, and patrolling entry points at a logistics and distribution site.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• X-ray screening experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• As a condition of employment, background check and drug screen required.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, vehicles, packages, and/or shipments in accordance with established procedures; report prohibited items, irregularities, or access concerns to site leadership.
• Verify identification, credentials, delivery documentation, and access authorization for personnel, contractors, and visitors entering designated areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following applicable site procedures and communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, screening areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Pay Rate: $18.47 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Thur: 07:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Fri: 07:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 07:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
