Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Screening Compliance in Fort Worth, TX. You will screen personnel, visitors, and items to maintain a secure environment at a fast-paced distribution facility.

The role requires 6 months of security experience, strong customer service, and comfort with computers/tablets. Expect background checks and a drug screen as part of employment, with a full-time schedule and hourly pay of $16.82.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• A background check and drug screen are required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals, packages, shipments, and personal property entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures and applicable requirements.
• Operate screening equipment and conduct visual inspections to identify prohibited or unauthorized items, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, and items in accordance with site procedures. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.82 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
