Job summary

Comstock is seeking a Security Officer to support ParkX Management at Reston, VA. You will perform hourly patrols, control access for guests and vendors, and enforce safety and policy rules to ensure a smooth experience for residents, tenants, and guests.

The role requires DCJS certification or the ability to obtain it within 90 days, a valid driver's license, and at least 1 year in customer service. Flexibility for after-hours work is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required or equivalent.
• DCJS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum 1 year experience in customer-service related field.
• Valid driver's license with no major violations.
• Flexibility to work after hours and weekends as needed.
• Customer-focused with strong communication and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Complete hourly patrol route of the property using the security system.
• Manage access control for guests, tenants and vendors.
• Ensure no property damage and report safety concerns.
• Conduct routine foot patrols in and around the building.
• Assist Marketing during events at Reston and Loudoun Station as needed.
• Manage valet at Reston Station and ensure plaza access rules are followed.
• Close loading dock doors and report concerns to management.
• Maintain and communicate up-to-date safety and contact information to guests.
