Allied Universal in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Security Officer - Public Concierge. You will safeguard clients, perform unarmed patrols, monitor access, and deliver excellent customer service at a high-traffic technology site.

Minimum requirements include 6 months security experience, HS diploma, and background/drug screening as required. Full-time schedule with evening/night shifts in a dynamic, supportive team.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• 18+ years for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal/state/local laws.
• Background-eligible situations considered per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements per state/local laws; may be needed.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

• Respond to incidents calmly and follow established response protocols.
• Prepare clear activity reports and communicate observations to leadership and site contacts.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate clearly with employees, visitors, and team members while reporting observations and responding to concerns. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and document access-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established response protocols.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
