Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer - Concierge Patrol in Tempe, AZ. You will provide exceptional customer service, monitor and patrol healthcare facilities, control access, and respond to alarms to deter security incidents.

The role is full-time, with a pay rate of $20.00 per hour. Duties include routine rounds, incident logging, and professional communication with site leadership. A positive, safety-first mindset is essential.

Formación

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at healthcare/research locations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior/exterior areas and security perimeters.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify visitor authorization; maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and emergencies; coordinate with emergency services when needed.
• Communicate security-related observations to site leadership and management.

Job Description

As a Security Officer - Concierge Patrolin Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control activities, respond to alarms, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a healthcare and research location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Communicate observed conditions, policy concerns, and security-related incidents to site leadership and Allied Universal management while maintaining a professional presence in a healthcare environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
