Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) in Westlake Village, CA. You will monitor and patrol the financial institution location, deter incidents, and assist employees and visitors with professionalism.

Position Type: Part Time. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour. Schedule: DayTime/Saturday and Sunday evenings. This role requires 3+ years security experience or a college degree, and a Guard Card is preferred. Background checks and a drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, lobby areas, and parking areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity and report unusual conditions.
• Document incidents and daily activities accurately and professionally.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, lobby areas, employee workspaces, parking areas, and perimeter, as applicable to the assigned post.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site policies, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and promptly, while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
