Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at the location by adhering to site policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of banking areas, offices, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to identify unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify authorization and maintain orderly movement throughout the site.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities and communicate to site leadership and supervision.

Rate: $20.84 an hour

As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol in Van Nuys, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity and teamwork. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, offices, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and help maintain orderly movement throughout the location.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Will be required to conduct a physical and medical screening
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
