Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer in Chula Vista, CA to protect clients at a financial institution and other sites. You will perform routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while upholding professional integrity.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.
• State/local licensing may be required.
• Valid driver's license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and following escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the premises and monitor entrances, parking areas, and other areas.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity per site procedures.
• Complete activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications accurately.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Chula Vista, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business, perimeter, entrances, parking areas, and other assigned areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
