Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Will be required to conduct a physical and medical screening.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly, following escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, offices, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain orderly movement.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities and communicate to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol in Van Nuys, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity and teamwork. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, offices, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and help maintain orderly movement throughout the location.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Will be required to conduct a physical and medical screening
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
