Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer (Full Time) in Boston, MA. You will serve clients across healthcare settings, conduct patrols, and maintain a welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you’ll respond to incidents with professionalism, monitor access points, and document security-related activities while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare and laboratory-related areas, building interiors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate security-related documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, observations, and operational needs.

Pay Rate: $24.85 / Hour

• Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
