Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer for the Hudson, NH area. You will provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while executing site-specific security procedures and responding to emergencies. Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws and regulations; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter security-related incidents and unauthorized access.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor activity, and reporting access-control concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while maintaining awareness of changing conditions throughout the location.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor activity, and reporting access‑control concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while maintaining awareness of changing conditions throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
