Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Patrol) for Newport, NH. You will monitor access, perform unarmed patrols across production areas and facilities, and deliver strong customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors.

The role offers a flexible DayTime/Saturday/Sunday schedule with a pay rate of $20.60 per hour. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and being 18+; CPR/First Aid preferred, and background checks and drug screens are part of the process.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter, reporting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, maintain required logs, and support adherence to site entry and exit procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
