Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check in accordance with laws; drug screen as permitted by law.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors following site procedures and access-control protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and perimeter; report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and maintain logs.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, project-solving manner and notify site contacts or emergency responders as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security concerns accurately per site procedures.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter, reporting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, maintain required logs, and support adherence to site entry and exit procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
