Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A drug screen is required as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor activity, and reporting access-control concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor activity, and reporting access-control concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while maintaining awareness of changing conditions throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
