Job summary

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Valid driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and report irregularities.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify appropriate contacts or emergency responders when needed.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and activities accurately and promptly.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and report irregularities in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and other security-related activities accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
