Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A background investigation will be conducted as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor activity at access points and high-traffic areas; report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and disturbances in a calm, professional manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation for site management and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol in Gibsonton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and associates. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in the job state. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, teamwork, and care.

What You'll Do:

• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
