Responsibilities

• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report suspicious behavior or damage to site leadership.
• Prepare clear reports and maintain professional communications with tenants, visitors, law enforcement, and responders.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail center, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; request appropriate assistance when needed.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, property damage, and policy violations to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain professional communication with tenants, visitors, law enforcement, and emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
