Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Support in Perris, CA. You will conduct routine patrols at a retail location, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service to clients, shoppers, and staff.

Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license, high school diploma or equivalent, and 18+ years old for unarmed roles. It is a full-time position with benefits and opportunities for growth within Allied Universal.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to store contacts and leadership.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other events in a calm, professional manner following site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports and provide access-control support as assigned.

As a Security Officer Patrol Support in Perris, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers, associates, and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state and compliance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate store contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, customer disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and provide access-control support for employees, visitors, vendors, and deliveries as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
