Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 02:15 PM - 10:45 PM
• Sun 02:15 PM - 10:45 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and retail patrons by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout neighborhood retail areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, parking activity, and property conditions; report hazards, maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while representing Allied Universal in a courteous, professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
